The Lambs Floorball Club is built upon and guided by core values of respect, equality, inclusivity, sportsmanship, and responsibility.
We believe these values promote a safe and inclusive culture which supports our coaches, players, volunteers and supporters, and believe they are integral to building a healthy community and encouraging individual and team-based development.
This code of conduct acts in conjunction with the Member Protection Policy.
Lambs Floorball Club Members must:
1. Respect, Equality and Inclusivity:
1.1. Respect, support and cooperate with officials, umpires, coaches, team members, opponents, and spectators. This includes following the reasonable directions of your Coach and/or Captain during training and matches.
1.2. Respect the right, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, sexuality, ability, cultural background or religion and treat all people equally.
1.3. Act in a manner that maintains a safe and inclusive space on and off the field of play.
2. Sportsmanship:
2.1. Play competitively and fairly, following the rules of competition.
2.2. Play in such a way as to ensure good relations within and between teams, and other people or organisations. Display humility in both defeat and victory.
2.3. Support personal, team and club development and acknowledge the achievements of others.
3. Responsibility:
3.1. Participate for your own enjoyment and the benefit of yourself and others around you.
3. 2. Conduct themselves in a manner to the reasonable satisfaction of the Lambs Floorball Club, so as not to bring themselves or the Lambs Floorball Club into public disrepute or censure.
3. 3. Control their behaviour, refraining from using offensive or insulting language and/or making obscene gestures which may insult other players, officials or spectators.
3. 4. Volunteer and contribute to the club where possible.
The Lambs Floorball Club supports all of its members and is committed to diversity, inclusion and equality. We do not condone nor support any forms of bullying, harassment or discrimination.
Upon registration as a player at Lambs Floorball Club all players must adhere to the Code of Conduct above. Any player or official found to have contravened the above Code of Conduct may be excluded from playing, training or representing Lambs Floorball Club in any official capacity until a review can be conducted.
